SchemaLAB is a group of researchers focusing on the integration of generative design strategies with Numerical Analyses (environmental, structural) and User Preferences. Our  research work investigates the following questions: How can computational design methodologies and design tools extend the designers’ capacity to generate solutions that may be complex yet take into account environmental parameters and lead to material efficient and constructible structures. We specifically explore how agent based modelling and  a Multi Agent Systems Approach can be applied across the fields of Architecture, Engineering and Construction for solving complex design problems.
